Golfing: From the minute you arrive at the International Golf Club you are treated like a member of an exclusive country club. The staff’s warm welcome was a perfect way to begin a wonderful getaway. For a few wonderful stluciaandvacations days, my husband and I indulged ourselves in all the delights this spotless Jamaican "all-inclusive" offered. For starters, the resort has one of the island’s best beaches, a glorious three-mile stretch of white sand. A day didn’t go by without at least a couple of hours there. We didn’t stay all day only because the crystal-clear Caribbean was far too tempting to resist. My particular passion, water-skiing, was tailor-made for Couples. The rest was up to the Caribbean and us. Needless to say, we had a fabulous time. Away from the water, we enjoyed socializing with the other, mostly friendly vacationers. Typically, there’s a pleasant mix of people at Couples, from retired snowbirds to honeymooners. And this trip was no exception. We made plenty of new acquaintances, especially while we were dining.
